Science Wednesday: "The Art & Science of the World and the Water about Us"

Join us at King's Live Music for a special Science Wednesday! This month's event will feature a panel of both artists and scientists:

  • Dr. Carl Frederickson, professor of Physics, University of Central Arkansas, will discuss the science of underwater acoustics.
  • Sue Schroeder, director of Core Dance, will discuss how she adapts dance movement for water and recent projects she has developed to bring awareness to this precious resource and its conservation.
  • Rich O'Donnell, co-founder and director of HEARding Cats Collective, will discuss how he developed instruments to be played underwater and the significance of his work as it relates to music and social justice issues.

This event is free and open to the public.

You may purchase bar food and beverages at King's.
